Good selection of drinks and food. The fish pie was so tasty I would love to return and have another. Staff were friendly and the pub was a good traditional environment with lots of characters local and visitors.
I absolutely love The Ship in Mevagissey. It’s in a great location with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps drawing me back. The pub is now under new ownership, and we wish them all the very best, it’s lovely to see the place still open. I’m especially happy that the bar staff have stayed on. They’re a genuinely friendly, upbeat bunch with a great sense of humour, and they’re a big part of what makes The Ship such an enjoyable place to visit. Still a firm favourite, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone passing through Mevagissey.
Located in the center of Mevagissey, has the feel if an original authentic pub. Excellent food and beverage.
Dropped in for lunch and had possibly the tastiest scallop dish I have ever eaten. Scallops in white wine, garlic and bacon sauce served with soft and crunchy baguette with plenty of butter. Delicious! Service was really friendly too.
We've recently stayed here for 3 nights in a family room. It's was spacious and also had a massive bathroom. Breakfast was an added bonus and delicious. We also ate here for 1 evening meal and all the food was tasty and homemade. Great atmosphere and staff very friendly. Location is fantastic right in the heart of Mevagissey. We will definitely be back :-)
Popped in for a drink and a meal on Sunday. The atmosphere was lovely. Staff are so friendly, pricing isnt bad at all! And the food was lovely definitely our favourite pub around!
